i've never ever in the history of my relationships with boys celebrated any kind of "anniversary" maybe gave it some sort of thought over it's day, but not to my knowledge has anything come of one.....

i've never really made a big deal out of them, but maybe in the past i've just been strongarmed into the "must celebrate every anniversary" mindset... if it makes you feel any better, storytime!

i was dating this girl a few years back, and she was obsessive about keeping dates, times, and specific things said during conversation under lock and key in her seemingly limitless photographic memory. i later realized that this "photographic" memory was in fact her own delusional version of the truth, but considering my complete lack of interpersonal detail oriented memory, she was able to lie to me a fair amount and have me believe that i had just forgotten what was said. anyway, that's beside the point... we were going to, at her insistence, celebrate our 6 month "anniversary" by doing *something* special. y'know what we ended up doing? going to the computer store and seeing the unveling of the original iMac! ya, marcus was there too- i was trying to get a job at the computer store, so i made the argument that it was really important for me *professionally*, which it was, in a way. but really, i wanted to see the neeeet blue computer and it's purrdy colors. man, i never heard the end of that, even though i took her out for dinner a few weeks later to make up for it...

point being, as i said before, special dates aren't important- what's really important is every day in between and making the one you love feel special, wanted, and loved. anything else is just icing on the cake... and too much icing can be kind of a pain to digest. wow, i don't really think that analogy worked, you'll have to excuse me ;)

i love you SOOO much!!! *MuWAH*

Boys usually get shot if they forget an anniversary. And I'm talkin' about even remembering "the first time we rode in a car together/the first time we went to a movie together/the first time we went to a mall together..."

How do girls keep up with all that shit?

*shrugs*
