in front of dj booth

nah.. i'm completely into girlz.. i'm the only straight person that works (and often exists) in either of the two main gay clubs here in jacksonville.. i'm trying to build enough of a breakbeats inventory to spin elsewhere.. i do guest slots around the state in straight clubs from time to time, but when most of your vinyl inventory is gay anthem music, it's hard to spin elsewhere..

florida is hot.. hot hot hot.. i'm sick of the heat already and it's not even june yet. i noticed you're programming for ms up in washington state? good job.. wish there were those things down here. i left aol back in november and rely on sporatic web projects to provide most of my play funding..

florida's heat would be ok if it werent for the humidity.. i went to school in pennyslvania and if nothing else, i learned that i hate florida.. no seasons.. no cold weather.. no changing leaves.. no mountains.. just a bunch of beaches.. which are fabulous the first 4000 times you visit 'em.. they lose their pizazz after that..

:)

Re: ?

sounds good. house music is fun stuff--i listen to all types. you think it'll take over your computer based stuff then? as a steady job ? ;)

Re: ?

it didn't before.. dj'ing around her doesnt pay that much.. $200/night or so at best.. i make more doing design work.. but i try to really limit how much design work i do.. i dont want it to become a 'job' because i still enjoy it as 'just being creative in a hobby'.. if that makes sense..

i'm always afraid it's gonna become work..

if i could get to where i was spinning on the circuit, or doing a fair amount of remix work, i'd love for the music to become my career.. that's the goal.. but regardless of skills, it's a hard goal to reach.. really falls under the 'who you know' principle..
