hmm.... dunno

(i really don't remember act II of hamlet, it's been ages since i read it. i suppose i could go be unlazy & pull it off my bookshelf, but i don't wanna reread that again... it's so hard to get used to the writing style... brain... hurts... oh ya, and i'm lazy.)

in Act II, Polonius (for instance) makes comments quite similar to those above, altough not together like that

it's one of those cycles that one could generalize and found applied to all aspects of life.
